Issue#3663: Would you be willing to take a short survey about the Apple Watch to assist with a design project?

  • Hello! I am an Industrial Design undergrad student doing a project to improve the Apple Watch and wearable devices in general . An important aspect of my process is gathering user opinions so I have put together a short survey for anyone! Even if you do not own an Apple Watch there is a section for you and your opinions are valuable!

I will be selecting 2 people who finish the survey and sending them a $15 iTunes Giftcard! Sorry it is not much but I am a student and it is coming out of my...

  • Issue#29755: Apple's Design Guide for the Watch/Band/Adapters (Release R3)

Just noticed that Apple has revised their Design Guide for Developers for the Watch/Band/Adapters as of 12/18/2015. Much more informative. If you are buying 3rd party bands and the classic adapter for it, you will want to give it a read so that you use the recommended threadlocker on the screws. Here's a link: https://developer.apple.com/watch/bands/Band-Design-Guidelines-for-Apple-Watch.pdf You will also notice that the Guide now spells out a lot like using Loctite 435 on the... • Issue#60606: iPhone & Apple Watch Keynote Issue

I bought my Apple Watch in London back in June, and I really like it. However, It's be a pain in the butt trying to figure out this software issue. My work involves me using Keynote a lot. I've got a ton of presentations on my iPhone. I used my Apple watch as the remote. One day in September, the watch stopped connecting to Keynote. Everything else is fine; just Keynote didn't work. So, I updated the app when the update came out. Updated my watch when the latest OS came out. Nothing. They... iPhone & Apple Watch Keynote Issue

  • Issue#90767: Radio Control - University design project, motor selection for e-bike pedal assist

As the subject states IÂ’m having a little bit of trouble choosing a Brushless Dc outrunner motor for a university engineering design project and was wondering if I could get some general advice/suggestions. A little background on the project, we are building a universal electric bike attachment, the purpose being able to install/uninstall the whole attachment in a few minutes. The brushless motors (2 of them ) will be used as friction rollers to propel the rider forward by pinching the back tire. This will act as an assist to pedaling and NOT the sole power delivery system. Our biggest hurdle right now is cost (budget of $600 materials and assembly/machining included). Initially we were going the route of using (x4) 5s batteries hooked up -2 batteries each in series- then each of those pairs hooked in parallel to give us the desired voltage and current necessary for our estimated ride time of 1/2 hour at approx 15-18mph. (x4) 5s vs (x2) 10s were chosen based on battery and balanc

  • Issue#425244: Runkeeper on Apple Watch Issue?

Does anyone here use Runkeeper on their Apple Watch? I used it for the first time on an outdoor run last week and it only tracked 2 of the 4 miles I ran. Here is what I think happened .... - Initiated my run from the AW Runkeeper app - Ran for awhile and sometime around the 2 mile marker, my husband texted me - I did not take action on the text - When I got done with my run later and ended the workout, it said I had run around 2 miles when my Fitbit Surge tracked 4 (and I know the Fitbit is accurate) I think that something happened when the text message came through and messed up the RK workout. Not sure why or how. If anyone uses RK regularly, I'd love input.
